Welcome to the Gunners' Town
A clever use of one of the greatest mysteries of the English language gives this website a whole new outlook. It’s perhaps an element of fate that the apostrophe was invented specifically for purposes of this website… to suggest that something belongs to something. Does London belong to Arsenal? Well… no, but if ever there was a city made for a club, London ticks all of the Arsenal boxes.
There are 13 teams in the top four divisions in England and I’m not here to brutalise any other club’s credentials, but it’s true that Arsenal tend to breed fans and attract those who remain impartial. I am one of those football fans who simply cannot help but fall in love with the Arsenal zest that is often displayed to such mesmerising detail.
For the foreseeable future you will read on this website a real article jumble sale of unrealistic gossip, engaging interviews and the most ridiculous elements of football banter you’re ever likely to come across. Into the blender you’ll also find match previews and reports written for those who matter, by those who matter; you, the fans…
So what do I want with you? Nothing much, just your love for the club and an ability to spread that love through the taps on a keyboard...
I want to create a real team of talent; talent unrivalled by my competitors. I want you to write for Welcome to the Gunners' Town and showcase your work to thousands upon thousands of fellow Arsenal disciples. So, what are you waiting for? Don’t be bashful, drop me a line and together, we can make this website the greatest show on earth (or at least the web anyway).
Like the beautiful apostrophe that makes London town soak up the meteoric force that is Arsenal FC, you can also belong to this emerging seed, soon to be a bush full of top class entertainment.
